May first, or May Day is a holiday to celebrate the coming spring. My college is a Forestry University, and as you might expect, it has some pretty amazing landscaping. It doesn’t hurt that the campus is nestled at the base of some green rolling hills, nor that when spring comes, flowers practically burst all over the place. I thought I’d show a few pictures taken by Ryan and myself as we walk around campus.
I do feel very lucky that I get to live and work here and see these sights everyday. The only problem is the lovely and temperate spring is quickly followed by a blazing and cruel summer. We’ve already had days in the mid-90’s, in April, so I’m dreading the upcoming weather, and trying to get out now, as much as I can now.
hello,
lovely pictures of the campus there .
i loved living in the south and actually miss fiery weather ,
winters up north are too harsh , i suppose a mixing both of them would be just about perfect 🙂
