Another Guest Post

Just wanted to let you all know that I wrote another guest post on Untemplater. I don’t know if I am an ‘official’ contributor yet, but they haven’t told me stop writing so I’ll keep trucking until they do. I’m planning on writing 1-2 posts every month on untemplater. I’ve been a little lazy on my writing in general lately, but we are working to get our next book finished in time for our August trip back to the US. (I’ll be posting an update on that soon.)
My article on Untemplater is about my guilty pleasure: America’s Next Top Model. I never watched the show back at home, but I remember going to the gym sometimes and it would be on the TV and I would do an extra 20 minutes on the treadmill just to watch the whole episode. My friend calls ANTM ‘reality show crack,’ You know it is bad for you, yet you can’t stop watching it.
Oddly enough since being here I have caught up on a lot of shows I never watched at home. We didn’t have TV reception or high speed internet at home so I was unable to watch current episodes and had to wait for DVD’s of my favorite shows like 30 Rock, or The Office (at which point Ryan and I would gorge and watch a whole season in 5-7 days). But now thanks to Chinese video sites I can watch current shows a day or two after they are on television. I even ended up watching some of the Vampire Diaries because I heard so many students talking about it.
