Only in China

Thanks to the website ChinaSmack I found this amazing video. Apparently a rather poor woman, who’s rickshaw business was illegal, ran a red light and hit a man. In China small accidents are usually handled with a cash payout and the man was demanding money from the woman. She refused to give him any more than 2 rmb (about .25 or so).
The traffic police showed up by this point, and the woman wanted out but needed some sort of weapon to get the police away from her and her bike. How do you make a weapon when you don’t have one? Why whip off your pants of course!
This is where the video picks up the story. So bare ass nekkid to the world she starts whipping her pants at the police and somehow manages to hit the secret kung fu death spot on the back of one officers neck. He goes down for the count. (Although he was down for so long I feel like he was faking, I mean c’mon it was just a pair of pants for Chrissake.) The woman got 8 months in prison for assaulting a police officer.
Anyway, you can see the whole thing played out here:

Like I said, only in China. Although, on second thought this seems like something a redneck in America might do as well. (Has this been on Cops?) I guess the real lesson here is that we are not all that different, no matter what country we come from. That we put up false barriers of language, looks and color. We breath the same air, want the best for the future, and scream the same obscenities at the cops while whipping our pants around in the air. What a wonderful world…
