Recently I’ve been noticing a lot of “Ai Art” around on the internet. Sometimes created by my friends, sometimes in ads, I have noticed very interesting and intriguing artwork all labeled “Ai.” I also watched a youtube video about design (because I recently opened an online shop) and they suggested using an ai tool to create new designs. That you could tell the computer what you wanted and it would create a new design that you could probably tweak for your own shirts and products.
The video did say that the designs weren’t high quality, and there might be some slight errors, but it would be good to give a general idea and you could make your own based on it. So I decided to try it out.
I went to craiyon.com, the website recommended in the video, and put in a few keywords. I’m getting my online shop ready for christmas so I put “badminton” and “santa” to see what ideas it would come up with. I will show you the results, but warning…what is seen cannot be unseen.
I thought maybe that was just a fluke and tried more very simple keywords: badminton female players outdoors
Since it was messing up even the most basic thing, I decided to go fanciful. Maybe it would do better there. So I tried “badminton player avocado.”
Then I dropped badminton and went with “person with candy cane hitting an alien.”
“Little girl petting a panda bear with fish”
“Human dancing on the moon.”
I then had to stop because I wanted to sleep that night and anymore would give me nightmares forever. But, I think it’s safe to say the artistic world is still free from computer takeover…for now.
But you know what isn’t a nightmare? The designs over at Dragon Badminton, the best badminton shop in the world! Head on over there and check it out!
